medium is like pacific beach in san diego — no place to park, slimey kelp and stinky salt water, but wait, there’re surfers, go closer, jump from the boardwalk wall and split open your bare foot on an aluminum can cover, tossed away by a tennis pro, stumble towards the waves to get a closer look, ignoring the dirty brown, rough sand grinding its way into the wound, a flap of skin on your heel. “is that chris hemsworth?”
